Meet the D&D Leadership Team
Kathy Heimerdinger PT, COMT
Kathy graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a masters degree in physical therapy in 2000. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics in the DFW area since graduating. Kathy is currently pursuing her doctorate of science in physical therapy through Texas Tech University and is working toward certification in orthopedic manual therapy through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine. Kathy specializes in orthopedic industrial and sports injuries and in sacroiliac joint disorders. She completed completed her COMT certification of the extremities in 2010. Kathy is also a member of the Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department.
Kaitlyn McDonald PT, DPT, LAT, ATC
Kaitlyn attended the University of Evansville in southern Indiana and graduated with her bachelors in Athletic Training in 2017. She subsequently earned her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020. Kaitlyn utilizes movement screens such as the SFMA, Y-balance and FMS to treat many of her patients, and enjoys returning athletes of all ages back to sport. When not in the clinic, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, going camping and spending time outdoors.
Jonathan Marshall, PT, DPT
Jonathan graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelors in Human Performance. He later attended Texas Woman's University for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Jonathan is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association Sports Section, His clinical interests include rehabilitation for dance-related injuries, concussion management, and helping all ages maximize function to reach their goals. His professional aspirations include furthering Dance Medicine through clinical research and becoming a Sports Certified Specialist. When not at work, Jonathan enjoys hiking and dark sky camping, delving into a good book, and trying to find the perfect cup of coffee.
Rebecca Bentz, PT, DPT
Rebecca attended Texas Woman's University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology in 2017. She subsequently attended Texas Woman's University Dallas campus and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020. Rebecca enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities and helping them reach their goals to get back to their lives. She plans on earning her orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) certification. When she's not in the clinic, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, and exploring DFW with her friends.
