Certified Manual Therapy

Our therapists take a "hands on" approach to your therapy and rely heavily on manual therapy treatment techniques such as joint mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue mobilization, rhythmic stabilization, therapeutic massage, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. The benefits of manual therapy include triggering the body's self healing abilities, promoting joint mobility, correcting imbalances in the body, relieving pain and stiffness in joints, and alleviating chronic conditions such as reoccurring headaches.

Certified Dry Needling

Dry needling is used to treat pain and dysfunction caused by muscle problems, headaches and some nerve problems by changing the way your body senses pain (neurological effects), and by helping the body heal stubborn spasms associated with trigger points (myofascial effects).

Dry Needling is effective in managing pain associated with many conditions, including:

- Plantar fascitis
- Neck pain
- Back pain
- Shoulder pain/ Frozen shoulder
- Headaches/Cerviogenic headaches
- Knee pain
- Hip pain

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. Cupping is performed for many reasons, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Kinesiotaping

The Kinesio Taping® Method is a rehabilitative taping technique designed to facilitate the body’s healing process while simultaneously providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. In addition Kinesio® Tape provides extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered during treatment. Kinesio® Tape is designed to be wearable for days at a time, is safe for all populations, and successfully treats a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and other medical conditions.

Myokinesthetic Certification

Myokinesthetic System:
MYK therapy focuses on treating the nervous system through the muscular system by stimulating the specific muscles by hand that belong to a particular nerve root. This allows the therapist to clear impingement and dysfunction in the nervous system along a single nerve pathway, resulting in improved posture, range of motion, improved muscle function, and decreased pain.

MovNat:
A progressive, systematic physical approach to improving human movement through natural developmental sequences. The system moves from lower level ground work to higher level movements which can improve and restore overall mobility, stability, balance, focus, and improved applicability of the strength one already possesses.

MPS is an integrative therapy using concentrated DC micro-stimulation to acupuncture and trigger points to provide myofascial release, reduction of pain, and improved mobility.
